Do you have a fixed price per course?
No, It is hard to determine how much time a student will take to complete a course. There are many variables that affect a students time to complete a course, such as frequency of study sessions, quality of study time and language barriers. However, our ground classes are priced competitively to save students a lot of money.
Are the instructors legitimate?
Yes, all of our Instructors hold current Ground or Flight Instructor certificates. We require that every instructor send us copies of their Instructor certificates. The majority of our instructors have months, if not years, of experience teaching.
Can I request in person grounds?
No, our company structure is designed for remote ground classes and tutoring. This structure allows us to offer lower costs per hour, for ground training.
Is the training part 61 or part 141?
Our training is conducted under the part 61 curriculum.
Do these grounds count toward the required ground time for my certificate?
Absolutely! Since all of our instructors are qualified and current Instructors, students can log their ground classes towards the requirements for certification.
Will these classes prepare me for the Checkride Oral?
Yes, these classes are geared toward meeting the Aeronautical knowledge necessary to pass the Oral exam. We also offer a mock checkride oral with our senior instructors, which we highly recommend doing prior to going for your checkride.
Do the instructors give training on specific aircraft?
Yes, our instructors have flown a variety of training aircraft and will go through specific aircraft systems. The instructors have flown almost all of the most popular training aircraft to include the Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Cessna 172RG, Cessna 172 G1000, Piper PA-28 Cherokee, Piper PA-28R Arrow, Piper PA-44T Seminole and Beechcraft Duchess.
Can I switch my instructor?
Yes, in most cases students love their instructors as they are all highly qualified and experienced teachers. However, if you feel like your instructor is not a good fit for you, we will switch you to another instructor.
How long is each ground lesson?
Students can request the length of time they would like for a particular ground class. However, we recommend booking 2hrs per lesson. If you finish your lesson within the 2hr block, the instructor will move into the next lesson or answer questions as needed.
